She completed her medical degree from Khyber Medical College in Peshawar, Pakistan. After training in Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut, she went on to pursue her fellowship from a Joint Harvard program (Brigham and Women’s Hospital/ Massachusetts General Hospital).
